About the event

In the tumultuous landscape of contemporary life, amidst the ceaseless demands and pressures, there exists a sanctuary—a haven of tranquility and introspection known as Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga has emerged as a profound antidote to the frenetic pace of our modern existence. Join us in Zurich, online (live and recordings), or hybrid (both).

Teaching Yin Yoga and creating a nurturing space during a yin yoga class is an art that evolves with experience and understanding. Rooted in Taoist Yoga & Martial Arts, Yin Yoga has gained significant popularity in recent years, often seen as a counterbalance to our fast-paced, achievement-driven society.

As a yin yoga teacher, you hold space for individuals to explore their inner world, providing a sanctuary where they can slow down, confront internal conflicts, reflect on life experiences, and nurture their physical and emotional well-being.

The intention behind this yin yoga teacher training is to empower you as a space holder and equip you with the skills to effectively share these teachings. This immersive training, limited to a maximum of 8 participants, focuses on embodying the practice of yin yoga. Beyond mastering the poses and self-reflection, you'll witness and honor the diverse expressions of yin yoga in each participant's practice.

We emphasize the importance of language and guiding students safely into yin yoga shapes, fostering an environment where silence is comfortable, and genuine connection thrives. My aspiration is for you to discover your unique voice and style in sharing this transformative practice.

In this transformative journey of Yin Yoga teacher training, we embark on a quest for mastery—to become proficient space holders, adept in the art of sharing these profound teachings. Within the intimate confines of our training environment, limited to a select few, we delve deep into the essence of Yin Yoga.

Emphasis is placed not only on the physical embodiment of the practice but on the subtle nuances of language and presence. We learn to guide our students safely into the depths of Yin Yoga poses, fostering an environment of trust and introspection.

Our journey encompasses a comprehensive exploration of Yin Yoga philosophy, rooted in the ancient wisdom of Taoism. We dissect the intricate anatomy of Yin Yoga poses, exploring variations and prop usage. Through intelligent sequencing and mindful instruction, we craft transformative experiences tailored to the needs and intentions of our students.

But this journey is not merely intellectual—it is deeply experiential. Through rigorous practice and self-inquiry, we peel back the layers of our own being, confronting our shadows and embracing our light. We emerge not only as skilled practitioners but as empowered teachers, ready to share the gift of Yin Yoga with the world.

Join us on this journey of self-discovery and transformation. Together, we will unlock the secrets of Yin Yoga, cultivating inner peace and wisdom in an increasingly chaotic world.

YOUR TEACHER: ALEKS NIKOLIC

I've been creating and holding spaces since 2015, teaching yoga since 2016, and specializing in yin yoga since 2019. This upcoming training marks my third yin yoga teacher training endeavor, following my inaugural one in 2022.

My mission has always been to foster safe environments where individuals can reconnect with their inner selves, confront their shadows, and rediscover their inner light. As an instructor, I aim to empower you to listen to your body's wisdom and reclaim your autonomy. While we address our personal challenges and engage in self-reflection, my goal is to equip you with the tools to transcend negative self-talk and step into your power to serve others.

During my extensive travels from October 2015 to January 2020, I pursued continuous growth and education in the field. This journey included completing a 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, two yin yoga teacher trainings, assisting in two yin yoga teacher trainings under my mentor Nik Robson from Yin Culture, as well as certifications in yoga nidra and 100 hours of teacher training in Divine Feminine Yoga & Tantric Hatha.

My dedication is to ensure your experience is transformative and magical. Feel free to reach out via the contact form to schedule a discovery call, ask questions, or begin your application journey: Aleks Nikolic Contact Form.
