Morning Yin for Creativitiy & Inspiration

Can you practice yin yoga in the morning? Well, the practice on a physical level is intended to practice when the muscles are still cold so that we can enter the connective tissue deeper. Another plus is that you can start into the day feeling centered, calm and inspired. 

This class is designed to start with a few poses to tune into your body, open and stretch it after sleeping. We're focussing on the upper body - chest, spine, sides, neck. On an energetic level we're opening the heart for our gratitude meditation to support us in feeling inspired and take creative action after finishing this practice with Kapalabhati, our fire-breathing practice. 

No experience needed, you'll need a bolster or at least one block or a big book for our heart-opening poses. You can also build a bolster by rolling up a yoga mat and then wrapping a blanket around it.
